SARCI Community Programs
SARCI members are happy to present two nationally recognized programs to interested groups.
- Hug-A-Tree
A preventive SAR program that takes its name from its primary survival technique which is to hug a tree. The program was designed in March 1981 by nationally-renowned tracker, Mr. Albert “Ab” Taylor. - Lost…But Found Safe and Sound
A safety program on hiking in the woods with discussions on how to prepare yourself in the event you are separated from a group or parents.
To request either of these presentations anywhere in southern Arizona, please email sarci@sarci.org with your group contact person’s name and telephone number, and a SARCI member will contact you.
